My primary skills are: communication, organization, delegation and passion. I am enthusiastic about achieving goals and overcoming obstacles. I believe innovation and a positive attitude are paramount to success. I went to San Diego State University to study English Literature for my B.A. and found a passion for critical thinking and problem solving. This inevitably led me to pursue an M.A. in philosophy, where I further developed my analytic skills. Now after working in the private sector for 5 years, am I able to fully understand the internal workings of business and how best to combine education with real world problems in order to achieve results.

Oversee projects for a company of 23 Subway Restaurants, 3 Denny's and two Del Taco's. My responsibilities include: inspect store operations, train employees on work safety, make large purchases of company supplies, negotiate contracts for store utility services (phone, fax, internet) pest control and various other accounts, administrate company email accounts and general technical support.

In charge of 5 Subway Restaurants in Los Angeles. As a former project manager, the company was in need of a District Manager to take over for 5 of the toughest inner city stores. I took it as a personal challenge and help to the company to build profits and efficiency. Within three months, all five locations made improvements in sales, productivity and food cost. I have found that in order to motivate employees, you must set achievable goals while also promoting a strong work ethic.
